ACT for Anxiety

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy techniques are great tools for learning how to mindfully accept anxiety as a part of your life, while putting the emphasis on fulfillment, enjoyment, and focusing on the things you can control. Please see link below for a helpful ACT workbook. One of my favorite activities from the book asks you to list out the costs of anxiety management, including costs it has had on your interpersonal relationships, career, health, energy, emotional state, finances, and cost to freedom. This can be a helpful tool in understanding the significant impact anxiety has had on your life and understanding the need for change.
