Book Recommendation!
I recently picked up a workbook entitled “Get Out of Your Mind & Into Your Life” by Steven C. Hayes, PhD. This book is focused on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy interventions and can help you work through negative self-talk in response to stress or traumatic events. I like that it encourages you to be kinder to yourself regarding what you’ve gone through in the past, while also pushing you to take actionable steps toward bettering yourself for the future.
