Go Make Something!

The desire to create is a basic human need. Most of us probably consider ourselves far more creative and artistic as children than we are as adults. Many people chose to write this off by saying that they aren’t creative or artistic.

Reframe how you’re choosing to look at creativity! Creativity can mean cultivating a beautiful garden, trying a new cooking or baking recipe, or expressing yourself through drawing or painting. I have recently gotten into making Aquabead magnets. For me, this is an activity that simultaneously allows me to focus and also feels mindless. And it’s fun!

Ask yourself—how am I meeting my need for creativity?

Be well.
